My journey to become an actor is not your typical story; I took the scenic route to where I am today..
I was born In Shrewsbury, Shropshire and I have lived in the same house my whole life. After secondary school I dipped my hands into a variety of jobs, but none satisfied me and I got stuck in a job I hated. My entire creativeness went into my list of extreme sports I have participated in, which includes: Bike Trials, Snowboarding and Skateboarding. I competed in all the sports and even performed at festivals and event openings.
Subconsciously my curiosity for acting began in 2008 when I saw the Oscar winning performance of Heath Ledger as the Joker, it just blew my mind and to this day is still my favourite performance. It wasn’t until I travelled the world in 2010 that acting became a full frontal possibility in my mind. I visited an agency in Australia to try my chances at getting on Home and Away (I failed) but the agent told me I had great potential and to think about becoming an actor.
After a year of this on my mind, I returned home and decided to take a trip to London and audition at a couple of drama schools, to my disbelief I got selected to all and had a choice on my hands so, I decided to join Richmond Drama School. I moved to London and after my first few lessons I knew this was finally the correct career choice for me. I just bloody love it!
I finished in July 2012 (with a student of the year award) and to my surprise I got signed to an agent. Since then I have landed leading roles in many short films that went on to win awards and many to be screened at leading film festivals in the UK this year and now I enter the unknown.....
